The EU Turns its Hideous Strength Against Václav Klaus
‘Can this really be true? The French and German governments attempting to oust the head of state of a neighbouring democracy? Czech politicians being told to bring impeachment proceedings against their President – not on grounds of corruption or abuse of office, but because he is sticking to a position that he had very publicly adopted prior to becoming President?’

No its not really true. The Czech President has no real veto power. His ‘veto’ can be overruled by the Czech Parliament. They did overrule his veto, so if he still doesn’t want to sign he will be in breach of his constitution article 50. France and Germany suggested that the Czech Parliament gather their cojones so to speak, and start ousting him if he violates his constitution. Which would make him a dictator. France and Germany are in their right to point this out.
