There is no recovery it is a Stimulus recovery , there could not be a jobless recovery it is like being half pregnant , You cannot have a sane economy based on consumption on credit and debt , The Too greedy to fail have hijacked Washington , this is not a fall and rise on your merit capitalism , buy gold and be ready for some very bad times coming ahead warns Gerald Celente, it all boils down to six words says Gerald Celente “Princeton Harvard Yale , Bullets Banks and Bombs ” “Gold is my nest eggs ” says Gerald Celente

Gerald Celente is a respected media commentator on business and consumer trends in the US, and publisher of The Trends Journal. His presentation aims to help exporters understand the key global niche markets they should be designing new products and services for, and signal what the key business and consumer trends will be. The Trends Research Institute is on record as accurately forecasting many major social, economic and political trends. such as the dot.com crash, the rise of gourmet coffees and organic foods.  They are currently predicting a rise in ‘simplicity hip’ for the average US family with downsizing in cars, houses and extravagances but a strong requirement for quality products that reflect personal styles and which are simple, reliable and can be repaired – not trashed – when broken.
Trends Expert Gerald Celente is also known as Dr Doom and the Nostradamus of Modern Times  , Gerald Celente is regarded as one of the foremost trend predictors in the world. Following are Gerald Celente’s Forecasts for 2010: · The Crash of 2010: The Bailout Bubble is about to burst. Be prepared for the onset of the Greatest Depression.  · Depression Uplift: The pursuit of elegance and affordable sophistication will raise spirits and profits.  · Terrorism 2010: Years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq and now Pakistan have intensified anti-American sentiment. 2010 will be the year of the lone-wolf, self-radicalized gunman.   · Neo-Survivalism: A new breed of survivalist is devising ingenious stratagems to beat the crumbling system. And, they’re not all heading for the hills with AK-47’s and pork & beans.   · Not Welcome Here: Fueled by fear and resentment, a global anti-immigration trend will gather force and serve as a major plank in building a new political party in the US.  · TB or Not TB: With two-thirds of Americans Too Big (TB) for their own good (and everyone else’s), 2010 will mark the outbreak of a “War on Fat,” providing a ton of business opportunities.   · Mothers of Invention: Taking off with the speed of the Internet revolution, “Technology for the Poor” will be a major trend in 2010, providing products and services for newly downscaled Western consumers and impoverished consumers everywhere.   · Not Made In China: A “Buy Local,” “My Country First” protectionist backlash will deliver a big “No” to unrestrained globalism and open solid niches for local and domestic manufacturers.  · The Next Big Thing: Just as the traditional print media (newspapers/magazines) were scooped by Internet competition, so too will new communication technologies herald the end of the TV networks as we know them.

Richard Branson Predicts Peak Oil In 2015

on 15/02/2010 (4 weeks ago) by NW0.eu in Video Library, World News, Comments Off

As the owner of a major airline, Virgin’s Richard Branson must think about the prospect of peak oil more than most of us. Apparently he’s a believer, as reported in the Christian Science Monitor:

Long-accustomed to being dismissed as alarmists, the arguments of those warning of an impending peak oil crisis are now being bolstered by support from multi-billionaires like Richard Branson.

A major report funded by the Virgin Airlines owner and other British business leaders warned this week that the world is running out of oil and predicts shortages and price spikes as soon as 2015. A future of painful hikes in the cost of food, heating, and travel in a world unprepared for surging oil prices was forecast by the Industry Taskforce for Peak Oil and Energy Security.

“Don’t let the oil crunch catch us out in the way that the credit crunch did,” wrote Mr. Branson and other business executives in a forward to the report…

Gerald Celente : a Global Financial War is being waged

on 13/02/2010 (4 weeks ago) by NW0.eu in Video Library, Comments Off

Obama released the annual economic report yesterday , it is a purely a guess pretending to know where the unemployment is going to be in 2012 says Gerald Celente , “These are just numbers being made up out of thin air ” Celente added , we do not want more government jobs like Greece , and the big question is where is Obama going to find the money to create the jobs …government jobs such as census jobs are unproductive jobs , what we need is productive capacity not more government jobs and regulations …..

The annual Economic Report of the President was released yesterday and it’s pretty gloomy – predicting slow employment growth this year and next. It basically says that the US economy will add an average of 95,000 jobs a month this year, but that’s not enough to make much of a dent in unemployment. The unemployment rate is projected to come down quite slowly after that, averaging 8.2 percent in 2012, when Obama will be up for reelection.

Stephen Colbert: ‘Sarah Palin Is a F**cking Retard’

on by NW0.eu in Politics, Video Library, Comments Off

Chris Matthews described her as an “empty vessel”, and Stephen Colbert’s opinion is well, see you yourself. Alternet reports:

“Sarah Palin knows that it’s okay to call someone a retard if like Rush you clearly don’t mean it which is why we should all come to her defense and say: Sarah Palin is a fucking retard,” Colbert quipped.

Palin’s son, Trig, has Down Syndrome. She had criticized Obama chief-of-staff Rahm Emanuel for telling liberal activists that a political strategy was “fucking retarded” during a private meeting in the White House. But when Rush Limbaugh used the same word, Palin declared that his usage was acceptable because it was satire.

Chris Matthews on Sarah Palin: ‘An Empty Vessel Ready to be Filled by Ideology She Doesn’t Understand’

on 10/02/2010 (5 weeks ago) by NW0.eu in Politics, Video Library, Comments Off

I wish more of the talking heads called out those in positions of influence for what they are, an “empty vessel” is an apt description. We need more honest brokers of information. I completely agree, this line of thinking is truly “frightening” (via Hardball with Chris Matthews):

She’s frightening. Mark, that is frightening stuff. Frightening. First of all, president don’t declare war. Anybody knows that in high school. Congress has to declare war. To declare war on Iran, I don’t think the most far right, Middle East hawk will talk about declaring war on Iran, a country with 70-some million people, with an advanced air force. … Why does she talk like that? Is Michael Ledeen, a real hawk, writing this stuff for her? I don’t know anyone as far right as that, besides him.
